ENISA's Executive Director Dr Udo Helmbrecht made a presentation at the Council of Europe's 'Octopus Interface' conference - 'Cooperation against cybercrime', which took place on 23 – 25 March 2010, in Strasbourg, France.
Dr Helmbrecht stated to media at the conference: 'ENISA made the legal recommendation to oblige cloud providers to notify customers about security breaches."[..] "We need to build trust into the cloud. If we don't build trust into this environment, the business model will not run."
The Executive Director's full speech points out the top recommendations for cloud customers, legal and research recommendations, as well as looks at top security benefits and risks.
